B.SC Nursing (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is a 4 years integrated undergraduate course in the medical field which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council. After completion of 10+2 education level with the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology, any aspirant is eligible for taking admission B.Sc Nursing Course. For getting admission in B.sc Nursing course one has to clear the Entrance Exams conducted by B.Sc Nursing Colleges. There are three under graduate courses for B.SC Nursing, that is Basic (Bachelor of Science in Nursing- Basic)- 4 years, Post Basic (Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Post Basic) -2 years, Distance (Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Distance)- 3 years

Admission Procedure

Entrance exam for B.Sc Nursing course is conducted between April to June. Candidates for this course can fill the application form online and offline mode. For filling the form online mode candidates need to visit the administrator website of the respective entrance exam. Each and every required detail has to be filled. After filling the admission form candidates should also take a printout of the form. The print out along with all the important documents and DD of specified amount are needed to be sent.

On the other hand for filling the form through offline Mode candidates need to get the form along with the brochure from the exam conducting body or from the chosen exam center and can go through the formality of filling the application form.

BSc Nursing Eligibility

For getting admission in the BSc Nursing course candidates should hit the eligibility criteria in every way. Candidates should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science stream that is PCB and English as compulsory subjects. 

BSc Nursing Post Basic, candidates need to acquire a General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) certificate and register them with the State Nurses Registration Council as Registered Nurse Registered Midwife (RNRM).
