Admission

Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune was founded in 1964. It provides undergraduate and graduate programs in Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Hotel Management, Catering Technology, Environment Science, and Agriculture, among other fields. These courses are available in the university’s constituent and associated colleges in Pune (Satara Road and Erandwane), Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad, and New Delhi.

B.Tech admission is based on the university’s CET (Engineering) and MHTCET or JEE Main in the case of leftover seats. Candidates who have passed the NEET UG exam are eligible to apply for MBBS and BDS programs. A valid NATA score will be considered for the B.Arch program. Admission to MD/MS and MDS programs is based on a valid NEET PG score.

• Admission to M.Tech programs needed a valid GATE score, followed by counseling.
• Aside from university-based admission to the M.Pharm program, students having a valid GPAT score are also considered for admission.
• BVP administers the B-MAT and B-CAT entrance exams for MBA and MCA programs, respectively.

In the faculties of Arts, Commerce, Social Science, Management Science, and Law, Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune Deemed University’s School of Distance Education (Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune SDE) offers a wide variety of undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral diploma and certificate programs. For university admission, applicants must submit an entrance test application. On the university website, an online admission application form is available.
Academic curricula at the university are of the annual and semester variety. According to admission sessions—namely, the June admission session and the January admission session—both types of academic curricula operate during their respective terms.
Under two admission seasons (June-January), the semester-style program is run. While the Even semester runs from January through June during the June session, the Odd semester starts in January and runs through June during the January session.

Selection Procedure

The final selection of all programs will be based on a merit system based on Candidates marks acquired in previous qualifying exams.

• The selection of Bachelors Degree programs will be done on the basis of applicants marks in Intermediate (10+2)
• MA, MCA, PG Diploma, and MBA candidates will be admitted based on their performance in the graduate-level test.
