Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School Admission
Step 1: Apply Online
- Students must apply online for Diploma, Undergraduate, and Graduate programs. You can also look at the Activity Schedule in the Admission Handbook.
- For the Online Admission Application Process, candidates should go to www.dypatiluniversitypune.edu.in and click on the Admission Tab to begin filling out the application form.
- Once the link for a specific program is opened and selected, the mobile number must be entered to receive the OTP to begin the online application form.
Step 2: Filling Of Online Admission Application Form
- Fill out the online Application Form completely, including the Program selection. Please keep in mind that in the case of engineering programs, candidates must indicate their preferred specialization or branch.
- Please keep all of your documents and the form fee transaction handy while filling out the data fields.
- Fill out the application form completely and accurately. Please do not leave any mandatory information fields blank. Along with the application form, candidates must upload a recent photograph and a digital signature (JPG/ JPEG/ PNG with a white background, 1 MB in size for both).
Note: After submitting the form, students are not permitted to make any changes or corrections to the form unless permission is granted by the University Authorities.
Step 3: Payment Of Application Form Fee Can Be Paid Via Debit/ Credit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking
Fee for Admission Application Form: Diploma and Undergraduate Programs: Rs. 800 The cost of the PG program is Rs.1000.
To pay the application fee, the candidate must select Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI/ Net Banking from the options provided. To complete the payment transaction, the candidate must follow the online instructions. If the confirmation page does not appear after payment, the transaction is canceled, and the candidate must contact the relevant bank for a refund. However, if the Confirmation Page is not generated, the candidate must make another payment/transaction to complete the online application process.

Step 4: Payment Receipt
After successfully submitting the form and paying the form fee, the student will receive a receipt that can be downloaded for their records.
Step 5: Acknowledgement Of Online Application Form
The student will receive an acknowledgement email on his or her registered email address upon successful form submission and will be able to download the form.
Step 6: Selection Process
The Admission Office, D Y Patil University, Pune, will conduct the admission selection process/round. Please keep in mind that D Y Patil University, Pune follows the Maharashtra Government’s, AICTE’s, and UGC’s admission guidelines. Candidates must appear in person; otherwise, their applications will be discarded. If a candidate is unable to attend, he or she may appear in the next round/s if announced by the university or if a seat/s becomes available.
Step 7: Confirmation Of Admission
- The candidate must appear on campus for the admission round/selection process/counselling. For admission process rounds of the respective program, candidates should consult the admission handbook.
- Following the announcement of the merit list, the candidate, if selected, must confirm admission:
- Payment of their first installment of academic fees. This fee can be paid via Demand Draft or Online Payment.
- Students must submit original documents along with two sets of photocopies.
- Eligibility assessment and document verification will be performed in accordance with the criteria to confirm admission to the respective programs in accordance with regulatory authorities’ guidelines.
- At the time of provisional admission, the list of original documents to be submitted for eligibility verification and scrutiny will be provided. If a document is not submitted or there is a discrepancy in the compliance of eligibility requirements, admission will be automatically cancelled.
- If a candidate is disqualified from a particular program, he or she may choose another program that meets the eligibility requirements.
Step 8: Accommodation And Mess
On the university campus, there is separate accommodation/hostel and mess for girls and boys. Following admission confirmation, students are required to apply for the hostel and canteen in the prescribed format.
Please be aware that a separate hostel and mess fee will be charged to students (as it is not included in the program fees).
The hostel will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Step 9: Education Loan
The payment schedule for program fees is provided in the Admission Handbook for the student’s convenience. If a student wishes to apply for a loan, the university will provide them with the necessary letters to submit to financial institutions/banks.
