In 2008, IIM Shillong was the eighth to start accepting students. This university, formerly known as the Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong (RGIIM), offers postgraduate, doctoral, and executive management courses in addition to its Management Development Programmes (MDPs), which are among the 20 IIMs that have been established in India to date. The final qualifying test from a recognized university serves as the baseline requirement for all of the programmes offered at IIM Shillong. IIM Shillong Scholarships provide assistance to students who have strong academic approach but insufficient financial resources. Deserving students can get need-based financial aid from the institute.
Need Based Financial Assistance Scheme
IIM Shillong offers a need-based financial assistance program to assist economically disadvantaged students. These scholarships are available to students with high academic standing who have little or no financial support.
