At least three days before to the placement, the organization must disclose the precise process requirements (number of panels, rounds of selection, and other constraints relevant to the procedure).

Critical Dates

Final Placements and Pre-Placement Talk: September 2022 to February 2023

April 2023 and beyond are the joining dates.

Talks prior to placement

Companies and students can engage more easily thanks to the Pre-Placement Talk (PPT). Representatives from the companies discuss the options available to the students, important aspects of business, and company biographies. After the presentation, there is a Q&A session when students can speak with company representatives to learn more about the business and possible positions. 90 minutes are allotted for a typical PPT session.

Applications as well as Shortlists

Students interested in a position can submit an application through the Placement office in response to job descriptions put forth by employers. As part of the application procedure, the students send in a comprehensive CV. Prior to their final placement interviews, businesses are required to send shortlists to the placement office based on student applications.

Interviews for positions

From September 2022 to February 2023, the final placement procedure is anticipated. On the day the Placement office and the employer have agreed upon, companies may interview the students they have chosen. The firm and the student can fully discuss the role during the final placement interview and select the best candidate. Before the last interview date is assigned, the companies might meet with students and provide initial evaluations.

Offerings and Acceptance

After the last interview, the company may extend an offer to the student. An offer must contain information on the position, the location, the salary, and any other pertinent terms and conditions the candidate has to consider before accepting it. The employer makes the offer to the Placement office, which then makes it to the chosen student. The PGP placement guidelines, which are established at the start of the academic year, determine how an offer can be accepted.
