The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, a newly built IIM that was established in 2015 under the Human Resource Development Ministry and Government of India, is now being mentored by IIM Bangalore. IIM Visakhapatnam, the largest city in Andhra Pradesh, is identical to the Howard Business School in terms of teaching style and facility and uses many of the same case studies.
The 241-acre new campus of IIM Vishakhapatnam is located next to Gambheeram Village in the Anandapuram Mandal of Visakhapatnam. By 2021, the new facility’s first phase is anticipated to be finished. There are 12 visiting faculty members and 23 full-time Faculty at IIM Visakhapatnam. All of the faculty members have PhDs from prestigious universities in India and overseas, including IIMs and IITs. At the graduate and doctoral levels, IIM Visakhapatnam offers four management courses. Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India, the institute also provides a specialized MBA program in Digital Governance & Management in blended learning format, the first of its kind in the nation.

Life At IIM Visakhapatnam
Currently, IIM Visakhapatnam has two campuses: the permanent campus, which occupies over 241 acres of land, and the temporary campus. Although the temporary campus’ hostel rooms have a view of the beach, the permanent campus features first-rate amenities. There are five different hostels close to the college campus, and the school offers transportation services for students to go between the campus and the hostel. On campus, a typical day is devoted to lectures, presentations, and case studies in the classroom. Due to the rigorous nature of the program, the pupils then begin working on their tasks.
