IIT Delhi B.Tech Admission

IIT Delhi B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must have finished their 10+2 from a recognized board of education, with the key courses being Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics.
  • Additionally, applicants must have received at least 60% in aggregate in the 10+2 level or comparable qualifying examination..

IIT Delhi B.Tech Selection Criteria 

  • Candidates are selected for the B.Tech program based solely on their performance in the JEE Advanced entrance exam, which is followed by the JoSAA Counseling Process.
  • Seats are assigned based on the college cutoff and the candidate’s course and college preferences.

IIT Delhi Integrated M.Tech Admission

Admission to the M.Tech program will be awarded based on a legitimate GATE score, followed by COAP counseling.

IIT Delhi M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. (Engineering)/M.Sc./M.C.A./MBBS/M.Pharm./B.Pharm. with 60% or an equivalent CGPA.
  • In the qualifying examination, candidates must demonstrate relevant specialization.

IIT Delhi MBA Admission

IT Delhi offers management programs through the Department of Management Science on the IIT campus. Telecommunication Systems Management, Information Systems, Finance, Marketing, Strategic Management, and Operations Management are among the six specializations available through IIT Delhi’s MBA program.

IIT Delhi MBA Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any field with a minimum of 60% or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Candidates for MBA Telecom must have a minimum 60% in their bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Economics, CA/ICWA.
  • Candidates must have a valid CAT score for admission .

IIT Delhi EMBA Admission

The Executive MBA program at Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi is divided into six semesters. Candidates are assigned seats depending on reservation criteria established by the Government of India. Candidates for admission to the program must have a Bachelor’s degree and two years of post-degree job experience. The entire program fee is INR 10.80 Lacs, payable in six equal semester installments.

IIT Delhi EMBA Eligibility Criteria

  • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline of engineering or technology is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in physical sciences (physics, chemistry, or mathematics) is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in statistics, operations research, computer application, economics, commerce, or CA/ICWAI is required.
  • Admission to the above-mentioned degree programs requires a minimum of 60% aggregate (all years/semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent.
  • For SC/ST/PH students, the qualifying degree with postgraduate qualification minimum performance is reduced from 60% to 55% (CGPA reduced from 6.00 to 5.50).
  • At least two years of post-qualifying degree employment experience as of August 1, 2023.

IIT Delhi EMBA Selection Criteria

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and two years of work experience are eligible to apply. The institute selects individuals for the interview round based on the applications they submit. Candidates who pass the interview round are handed admission offer letters for the final round of selection.

IIT Delhi MSc Admission

Admissions to the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi’s Postgraduate Courses include M.Sc. The M.Sc. program is two years long. Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Cognitive Science, and Economics are the five specialities available in the program.

IIT Delhi M.Sc Selection Criteria

  • Candidates are chosen based on their performance on the IIT JAM admission exam in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
  • Candidates for Economics and Cognitive Science are chosen based on their COGJET entry score, followed by an interview.
  • Candidates with a valid JAM/GATE/CSIR/JRF/NET score will be excluded from the COJET Exam.

IIT Delhi MS (R) Admission

IIT Delhi provides a 2-year full-time M.S. (R) degree and a 3-year part-time program. Applied Mechanics, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology, and Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management are among the 17 specializations available.

IIT Delhi MS Research Eligibility Criteria

·         Candidates must have a B.E./B. Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent degree with at least 60% marks or a 6.0 CGPA.

·         Candidates must pass the GATE entrance exam.

IIT Delhi MS (R) Selection Criteria:

  • Admission will be granted based on GATE scores, a written test administered by IIT-D followed by an interview.
  • Candidates having a BE/B.Tech or M.Sc with at least 75% (70% for SC/ST/PH) aggregate marks and a GATE score of greater than or equal to 300 (200 for SC/ST/PH) would be awarded direct admission.

IIT Delhi MPP Admission

Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi has launched a new two-year Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree at the postgraduate level. The program emphasizes Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI), as well as Development. The institute conducts a written test or an interview to determine admission to the program.

IIT Delhi MPP Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following prerequisites to be considered for admission to the Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi MPP program:

  • Post-graduate degrees such as M.A, M.Sc, M.Phil, Integrated M.Sc/M.A, M.Tech, or equivalent are required.

IIT Delhi MPP Selection Criteria

The MPP program at Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi is selected in two stages. Candidates will be shortlisted in the first round based on their academic performance or qualifying degree. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written test or an interview given by the institute in the second step. The candidates’ final selection will be based on their performance in the institute’s written test or interview.

IIT Delhi BDes Admission

From the academic year 2023-24, IIT Delhi will offer a 4-year BDes program. The program has a maximum capacity of 20 participants.

IIT Delhi BDes Selection Criteria

  • Applicants to the IIT Delhi BDes program must have completed their 10+2 level board exams in the science or commerce stream.
  • They must have passed their 10+2 examination with at least 60% in all subjects from any recognized board of education.

Only UCEED 2023 qualified applicants will be admitted to the IIT Delhi BDes program. The application process for the program is only available on the official website of the UCEED 2024 test.

IIT Delhi MDes Admission

IIT Delhi also provides a two-year M.Des program at the postgraduate level. Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi currently exclusively offers an MDes Program in Master of Design in Industrial Design Specialization. Admission to the M.Des program is through Direct/Interview.

IIT Delhi MDes Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have a B.E./B. Tech./B. Arch. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale.
  • Candidates must have a current CEED score.

IIT Delhi Ph.D Admission

The Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi provides Ph.D. programs in 29 specializations, with admissions based on GATE and NET entrance test scores, which are then followed by an interview.

IIT Delhi PhD Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must hold an M.Tech/M.E/M.Sc/MBA degree with a minimum of 60%.
  • Alternatively, a B.E/B.Tech with a minimum of 70% in the relevant discipline.

The 325-acre campus of Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi is one of the most technologically advanced in the world. Besides the main campus in Hauz Khas, the university has built two other campuses in Sonipat and Jhajjar. Modern classrooms, labs, and libraries may be found on the Hauz Khas campus.

There are a total of 14 hostels on the IIT Delhi Campus, 11 for males and 3 for females. The dormitories for males are called Nilgiri, Karakoram, Aravali, Jwalamukhi, Satpura, Zanskar, Kumaon, Vindyachal, Shivalik, Girnar, etc., while the hostels for girls are called Kailash and Himadri.
