IIT Gandhinagar, which was founded in 2008, is an IIT of the second generation. An independent institution of higher learning, IIT Gandhinagar grants undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. There are 12 hostels on the 400-acre IIT Gandhinagar campus. According to the NIRF 2023 rating, IIT Gandhinagar is ranked number 18 among India’s top engineering schools. 50 courses in engineering, mathematics, cognitive science, humanities, and social sciences are offered at IIT Gandhinagar. The BTech program at IIT Gandhinagar is its flagship, and admissions there are based on JEE Advanced rank, then JoSAA Counselling. IIT Gandhinagar’s minimum cut-off is 1230-9076. The MTech program at IIT Gandhinagar is another well-liked class. Through COAP (Common Offer Acceptance Portal), candidates with qualifying GATE scores can apply for MTech admission. In the 2023 placement drive, 125 of the 164 participating students were placed, demonstrating IIT Gandhinagar’s reputation for offering excellent placement prospects to its students. IIT Gandhinagar’s median package was INR 15.18 LPA, and the institute’s average package was INR 19.34 LPA. Accenture, Amazon, Amul, Cognizant, Biju’s, Deloitte, Adobe, and other notable recruiting companies were among them.
