Selection Criteria for MA

• Admission to IIT GN’s MA program is based on entrance exams and interviews.
• Candidates will be invited to a written test and interview based on their previous academic record and aptitude for graduate study in humanities and social sciences.
• The final decision will be based on academic records, aptitude for graduate study, a written exam, and an interview.
• IIT Gandhinagar may admit a few outstanding students based on their academic achievements without requiring them to take a written test and/or interview.

BTech admissions in IITs are based on JEE advanced exam scores. Candidates who achieve the specified minimum qualifying marks in the JEE Main exam are eligible to take the relevant examination. The minimum qualifying mark for the unreserved category (General category) is 87.992241 and the maximum qualifying mark is 100.
