Every year, JAGMAT, also known as IFIM Business School, leads JAGSoM for admission to PGDM. Candidates who have cleared the National MBA Examination are also eligible for the Post Graduate Diploma program in addition to JAGMAT. JAGMAT is the entry point for 180 seats spread across three major Diploma programs and 120 seats for PGDM (General) JAGSoM uses JAGSoM for about 90 minutes. The three sections consist of questions for the candidates: Logical Reasoning (LR), Quantitative Aptitude (QA), and English Language Proficiency (ELP).

The JAGMAT exam has similar sections to the CAT exam but is less difficult and is designed to assess candidates’ skills in three key areas. Below is a description of each section:
1. English Language Proficiency Objective:
This section tests your English language skills with a focus on grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension. Topics: Comprehension: Sections and questions that assess comprehension, reasoning, and vocabulary use.Grammar: Questions on sentence correction, error detection, and sentence completion.Vocabulary: words, words, words, and word spaces.Expression: summary, parasummary, sentence elimination.Sample questions: 25 questions to assess the level of understanding and use of English in various contexts. It is complex and focuses on clarity and precision rather than complex or obscure questions.
2. Quantitative Ability Test:
This section assesses mathematical and numerical problem-solving skills. Topics covered: Algorithms: Percentages, ratios, ratios, averages, profit and loss, simple and compound interest. Algebra: equations, equations, functions, and sequences.Geometry and measurement: properties of shape, area, volume, and perimeter.Number system: division rules, factors, multiplication, and properties of numbers. Data interpretation: simple graphs, tables, and charts need interpretation and analysis.Sample questions: 25 questions on basic math topics. The questions are easier and more difficult as compared to CAT, so it will be easy for candidates who know maths.
3. Self-Assessment:
This section will test your ability to analyze and interpret logical statements. Topics covered: Problems: logistical issues, seating, schedules. Line: numbers and letters in lines, alignment, and pattern notation.Comparison: deductive reasoning based on given information.Relationships: Questions about family trees and relationships.Progression: Questions that require analysis of direction and distance. Decode-decode: a code or pattern decoding operation.Sample Questions: 25 questions designed to test your logical thinking and problem-solving skills. JAGMAT EXAM 2024 Admit Card
Those who fill out the JAGMAT application form will get an admit card to use in the online test. JAGSoM will email the JAGMAT 2024 Admit Card. The date and time of the exam will be included in the email accompanying the admission form. The email will contain details about the testing software as well as the virtual test schedule for the candidates. Candidates can download and print their JAGMAT hall pass before the commencement of the exam. On the day of the exam, the guard will ask for the details entered in the JAGMAT admit card.
JAGMAT EXAM 2024 Result
