About MSc. Finance

The two-year, full-time Master in Finance program—a first of its kind—was launched at the former prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s suggestion. The training is specifically developed to mold “Future Financial Leaders.” The curriculum is designed with the London School of Economics in mind. By drawing on the expertise of industry professionals and finance professors who combine statistics, corporate strategy, and operations research, the curriculum goes beyond simply teaching financial theory.

Top finance positions require a sharp decision-maker who can understand both the importance of the smaller details and their place in the overall scheme of things. The Master of Science in Finance programme is designed to provide a solid foundation in the theories and practices of finance as well as the analytical tools and abilities needed to create a solid platform for financial decision-making. The new M.Sc. Finance curriculum provides all the fundamental academic and practical abilities required for a prosperous career in finance. Before exploring rapidly evolving specialisms like Fintech, Big Data, and International Finance, it will provide a thorough understanding of financial theories, assumptions, and practices. The purpose of this course is to assist students in becoming more effective in the field of finance as well as the organizations that employ them.
