Admission

PGDM

LIBA provides a full-time PGDM program for two years. LIBA offers the PGDM program with five specializations: marketing, finance, human resources, technology and operations, and business analytics. The total fee for the program is INR 17.09 lakhs.

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university and a minimum of 60% marks are eligible to apply for the programme.

LIBA PGDM Selection Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission to LIBA’s PGDM programme must take the CAT or XAT entrance exam. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid CAT or XAT scores. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for in-person assessments, which include a group discussion and a personal interview.

PGDM (Part-Time)

LIBA offers a part-time PGDM program. The program is spread out over three years, with nine terms. The Part-time PGDM course is offered on weekends. The total fee for the program is INR 6.63 lakhs. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% and at least two years of work experience in business, industry, or government. Candidates should be employed at the time they apply for the program.

Selection Criteria:

Candidates are shortlisted for the PGDM program based on their application. Shortlisted candidates are then called for final selection, which includes a written ability test and a personal interview round.

Executive Diploma

Executive Diplomas are designed specifically for working professionals. LIBA offers Executive Diploma programmes both during the week and on weekends.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university and a minimum of 50% marks, or students in their final year of graduation, may apply for the programme. Work experience (not required) will be given preference.

Selection Criteria:

LIBA’s Selection Committee will conduct a preliminary screening of applications before shortlisting candidates. Shortlisted candidates are then invited for a personal interview. Candidates will be selected based on their overall performance in the personal interview.

PGP in Logistics

LIBA offers a PGP in Logistics to help candidates develop skills for a career in logistics. The course is a 15-month curriculum divided into three terms. Graduates looking for a career in logistics and working professionals and looking to upgrade their skills for jobs in E-commerce, 3PL, Shipping, Automobile, Retail, Manufacturing, Export & Import and related service sectors are eligible to apply for the programme. The total fee for the program is INR 6 lakhs.

Selection Criteria:

LIBA’s Selection Committee will conduct a preliminary screening of applications before inviting shortlisted candidates for a personal interview. Candidates will be selected based on their overall performance in the personal interview.

PhD

LIBA provides a Doctoral Level PhD programme. The PhD programme is affiliated with the University of Madras in Chennai. LIBA provides PhD programmes in both part-time and full-time formats. The programme has a minimum duration of three years and a maximum of five years. The PhD programme at LIBA is non-stipendiary, and the University does not charge tuition fees to PhD students.

Candidates with a Master’s Degree and a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for the program. The Selection Committee shortlists candidates for PhD programmes based on their academic scores, written aptitude test, and personal interview.

Certificate Programs

The Management Development Centre (MDC) provides LIBA’s Executive and Certificate Programmes to qualified candidates. Certificate programs last between 30 hours and two years, with fees ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 2.75 lakhs. Here’s some information about the Certificate Programs offered:

Cutoff

LIBA PGDM admission is based on CAT or XAT scores, followed by GD/PI. The LIBA CAT cutoff is expected to be 80 percentile, while the LIBA XAT cutoff is expected to be 75 percentile in the general category. Aside from PGDM, LIBA also provides Executive Diploma, PGP in Logistics, Certificate, and Online programs at both the international and domestic levels. Candidates are selected for these programs based on their applications, which are then evaluated using PI. LIBA takes into account applicants’ performance in the most recent qualifying exam when evaluating Online and Certificate programs.
