Eligibility criteria

• Any eligible applicants on an India basis may be admitted, including non-resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Outside Maharashtra candidates (OMS), provided they took the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test and were found qualified for admission to undergraduate programs in Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics, and B.Sc. nursing. The appropriate institutions will fill these seats by soliciting applications from all qualified applicants registered with the State CET cell at the respective institutions.

• The Candidates must have Maharashtra as their domicile. For all Health Science Courses, the applicant must have been born on or before December 31, 2004, to be eligible. Valid proof includes the birth certificate, which must include the candidate’s name, the secondary school certificate, such as the SSC or equivalent examination certificate, or the school leaving certificate, which must include the candidate’s date of birth.

• A candidate from the OPEN and EWS Category must have earned at least 50% in the subjects of biology, chemistry, and physics in the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. A candidate from a constitutionally recognized group or a constitutionally recognized group with a person with a disability claim must have earned at least 40% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined on the HSC (or equivalent) Exam. A candidate for the General category who has a disability must earn at least 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) combined in the HSC (or equivalent) Examination or as determined by the relevant Central Council.
