The All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts the MAT exam, which is the country’s premier MBA exam, recognized by over 500 MBA colleges in India for admission to MBA Compared to the CAT exam; MAT is an MBA exam which is relatively easy. The MAT 2024 is administered in three formats: computer-based test (MAT CBT), paper-based test (MAT PBT), and internet-based test (MAT IBT). Candidates can take the exam in either of the two ways.
MAT CBT and PBT are popular approaches to the MAT test. The MAT test is divided into five main sections: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Ability, Data Analysis and Appropriateness, Intelligence and Critical Thinking, and Economics and Business Environment, each with 30 questions. - Every applying student should hold their graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university or any equivalent.

MAT Exam 2024 Application Procedure & Registration
- Visit the AIMA MAT website at mat.aima.in
- Enter basic information and choose a password.
- Click on the ‘register’ option.
- OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
- Use OTP to verify your phone number and log in.
- Payments must be made by debit/credit card or online banking.
- Select test mode and two test cities (for PBT/CBT).
- Fill in the remaining spaces.
- Upload photos and signatures in the prescribed format.
- Identify five institutions where AIMA will send your MAT score.
- Download a copy of the completed application form after submission.

This section of the MAT Syllabus includes Verb, Adjective, Adverb, Noun, Pronoun, Antonyms & Synonyms, Vocabulary, fill in blanks, Sentence Correction, One Word Substitution, Idioms/Phrases, Para Jumble, and Reading Comprehension.
Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
Topics included in this section include Analytical and Logical Reasoning topics such as Family Tree, Course of Action, Arrangement, Pie Charts, Calendars, Statement Conclusions, Puzzles, Series, Blood Relations, Coding & Decoding, Strong Arguments and Weak Arguments, Visual Reasoning, Syllogisms and Graphs.
Data Analysis & Data Sufficiency
This section is divided into 2 parts: Data Analysis and Data Sufficiency. Topics to study include Line Case-lets, Pie Chart, Data Comparison, Graphs, Bar Graphs, Quantitative Comparison, and Data Sufficiency.
Mathematical Skills
In this section, candidates have to study Trigonometry, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, and Modern Maths.

The Indian & Global Environment or GK section of the MAT entrance exam has a total of 40 questions from Current Affairs and static GK.
