Mount Carmel College (MCC) is a renowned women’s college located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Admission

The Personal Interview (PI) phase is used to evaluate candidates for admission to Undergraduate (UG) programs. Candidates must take an entrance exam for a college-level program for BBA, though.

UG Courses

  • Candidates are chosen for the PI round for the BA, BSc, and BCA programs based on their Class 12 grades.
  • The Mount Carmel Management Aptitude Test (MCMAT) scores, followed by the PI round, determine admission to the BCom program.
  • MCMAT scores and candidates’ performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD and PI) phase are used to determine admission to BBA programs.

PG Courses

  • Admissions to the PG courses are merit-based.

UG Admission

Six UG full-time programs are available at Mount Carmel College Bangalore, including BCA, BBA, BA, BVoc, BSc, and BCom. UG One language course is required of all students, and they must choose the second language they studied for the previous qualifying exam.

Admission Process

Download the prospectus for admission. List the programs you are interested in, the courses they offer, the times they meet in class, and the program’s class schedule.

Step 1: The college website must be used to access the online application in Step 1.

Step 2: Complete the application, add the required scanned files, pay the application money, and submit the form. (Incomplete forms will not be processed.

Step 3: The application and uploaded documents will be checked by admission coordinators.

Step 4: The program admission coordinators will narrow down the candidates based on the eligibility requirements. Candidates who have been shortlisted will receive a letter or phone call from the admission coordinators, and a preliminary list of the candidates who have been chosen will be posted online. Step 5: The annual program fee is assigned, and the admission portal will include a link to the fee payment page. The candidates are informed of this by an SMS from the college. Prior to the last date specified, candidates must pay the fee.

Step 6: Students will receive an SMS confirming their provisional admission and receiving a prompt acknowledgment of all online fee payments.

Please take note that payments made for fees through offline methods (NEFT, UPI, or bank transfers) will receive an acknowledgement after 48 hours. You are expected to get in touch with the admission coordinators in the event of a delay.
