Eligibility

A bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% GPA from an accredited institution is required. Your extra-curricular activities, extracurricular activities, grades and recognition are all considered in the evaluation process. Good academic standing is important and weighs 25% in admissions decisions. AICTE determines the eligibility criteria for SC, ST, and ST candidates.

Selection Criteria

  • The school shortlists students based on a variety of criteria, including academic records of 10, 12, and graduation, entrance test or MET scores, work experience (if any), case studies, activities a it includes postgraduate and development costs.
  • Shortlisted candidates only need 10 points for one or two in-person/phone/Skype interviews.
  • A candidate is selected as a finalist if he or she has a combined score of 18 or above on entrance exams, work experience, case studies, activities and achievements, and performance in the interview.
  • MYRA will eventually announce all nominees on its website.

Academic Profile

The Office of Admissions evaluates an applicant’s academic record and standing to determine eligibility for the desired program. Academic content weighs 25% in admissions decisions and is a prerequisite for enrollment in the program.

Entrance Test 

The admissions office also considers an applicant’s scores in each of the recognized qualifying tests (CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, NMAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA). If an applicant does not have the entrance marks or does not qualify in the entrance test, he/she is invited to take the MYRA Entrance Test online.

The MET is a 60-minute online test that can be taken at any time from any location. It consists of 50 questions and marks are obtained out of 50. The test consists of 20 quantitative questions, 20 oral questions and 10 questions of logical reasoning without any bad marks. Each correct question earns the student one point. Entrance exam scores are required for use in full-time programs and account for 25% of admissions decisions.

Case Analysis

After qualifying with academic content and an entrance exam, applicants will be given a one-page case study in a ‘working model’ based on their preferred programme. Applicants will be able to present their understanding and analysis, followed by a case study interview. A case study is an important assessment that allows the admissions office to analyze a candidate’s thought process, critical thinking, and program alignment. It carries 25% of the weight of the admissions decision.

Admission Interview

Applicants who meet the academic profile, entrance exam, and case study requirements are invited to an admissions interview, which can be conducted online or on campus. Admissions interviews are the most important part of admissions to programs, accounting for 25% of admissions decisions. Admissions interviews evaluate candidates’ suitability for the program based on their background, aspirations, and program outcome goals. Candidates may be given one or two interviews in admission based on their profile.
