In light of the global slowdown and associated impact on campus placements, SPJIMR has received strong support from Industry partners and alumni of the school to complete 100% placements of all students with stellar results.
With significant corporate engagement, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, has announced the conclusion of the Final Recruitment Process for its PGDM & PGDM(BM) Class of 2024.
Given the current global slowdown and its impact on campus placements, SPJIMR has garnered significant backing from industry partners and school alumni to ensure that all students are placed at 100% with exceptional outcomes.
.. The most recent MBA placement cycle conducted by SPJIMR strengthened the institution’s ties to business. A large number of organizations were onboarded into the process, and offer rollouts happened quickly, indicating that the MBA participants’ value-based leadership style was trusted. With 35% of the batch receiving offers, the consulting sector emerged as the leading hiring sector.
This strengthened a pattern of rising offers from top consulting firms every year, elevating SPJIMR to the status of a desirable campus. With offers to thirty-five percent of the cohort, they were the biggest recruiters. Among the firms involved were Accenture Strategy, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, Kearney, KPMG, Praxis Global Alliance, GEP Worldwide, and PwC US Advisory. Deloitte also made worldwide proposals to SPJIMR this year.

The average annual salary (cost-to-company) for this year was INR 33 lakhs, which was the same as last year. With over 70% of the class obtaining offers above INR 30 lakhs annually and over 90% above INR 25 lakhs annually, the median annual income was likewise close to the previous year at 31.2 lakhs.
Big names in investment banking, including DC Advisory Partners, Goldman Sachs, JM Financials, Nomura, and O3 Capital, offered an unprecedented amount of front-end positions. In investment banking, offers increased thrice over the previous year. Offers from Pinpoint Asset Management, Neo Wealth and Asset Management, and Nuvama Wealth were made to buy-side firms that visited the campus, including hedge funds, venture capital, and asset management.
