Admission

Vivekananda Law School, Vivekananda School of Information Technology, Vivekananda School of Journalism and Mass Communication, and Vivekananda School of Business Studies all provide a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The institute now offers seven UG degrees and two PG programs in a variety of fields.

BBA, BCA, BJMC, BA-LLB, BBA-LLB Admission 2023

VIPS provides full-time undergraduate degree programs in law, commerce, business administration, computer applications, journalism, and mass communication. Candidates are chosen through GGSIPU counselling based on the marks/rank obtained in the respective IPU-CET.

Admission to these programs is based on a 10+2 pass with English as a subject and a minimum of 50% marks.

LLM and MCA Admission 2023

The institute presently provides full-time MCA and LL.M. degrees as part of its PG program, with candidates chosen based on their performance in the IPU – CET.

A BCA degree or a graduate degree in the relevant or associated discipline (BIT or BIS) with Mathematics and English at 10+2 is required for admission to the MCA program. Candidates for the LL.M. program must have an LL.B. degree with a minimum of 50% grades.

Application Process

Candidates seeking admission to any of VIPS’s programmes must apply through the IPU-CET, a single entrance exam administered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The university only accepts application forms submitted online.

• Interested candidates can apply online through GGSIP University’s official website.
• The online application form must be completed completely, and scanned copies of all required papers, such as a passport-size photo, signature, and so on, must be supplied as specified in the information pamphlet.
• •After successfully submitting the application form, a registration ID and password are produced for future reference.
• An application fee of INR 1000 must be paid on or before the deadline. Payment can be made with a credit/debit card or internet banking using BillDesk (payment gateway).
• Admit cards are supplied to candidates who have successfully completed application submission and payment of application fees.

• Seats are assigned at GGSIPU counselling based on the candidate’s performance in the IPU- CET.
• For the applicant’s candidature to be valid, the original and two photocopies of the following documents must be brought to counselling/interview:

VIPS Reservation

Reservation is granted to all qualified candidates on the basis of merit, subject to the rules established by the Government of India. Seats in VIPs are assigned according to the following guidelines:

• 85% of the seats are allocated for Delhi Region Candidates, i.e. those who have completed the qualifying examination from any school or institute in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
• 15% of the seats are reserved for candidates from outside the Delhi Region, i.e. those who have completed the qualifying examination from any school or institute located outside Delhi.
