MDI Gurgaon Placement Process

The MDI Placement Process seeks to align student goals with the demands of the corporate world, promoting the development of a synergistic relationship between the two. Below is an overview of the various placement activities undertaken by MDI Gurgaon.

Summer Internship Programmes

Students enrolled in PGP-HR and PGPM programs must complete a 6-to-8-week summer internship as part of their coursework. The selection procedure begins after the first term for first-year students. Typically, internships run from April to mid-June.

Final Placements

Recruitment through pre-placement offers (PPO) and lateral placements for students with prior work experience can occur up to a fortnight before final placements, which are usually carried out in February.

Placement Stages

  1. Corporate representatives engage with students through Business Thought Leadership Sessions, Guest Lectures, Live Projects, and other corporate forums.
  2. Companies access student profiles and other pertinent information.
  3. Pre-placement talks are conducted to provide details about available roles and profiles.
  4. Interested candidates submit resumes to the companies along with an invitation to apply.
  5. Companies shortlist students based on profiles, offered positions, and students’ areas of interest.
  6. Selection process includes interviews, group discussions, and further shortlisting based on resumes.
  7. Companies announce the final results.
