MDI GURGAON Beyond Placement
At MDI, we firmly think that management students may gain vital knowledge from the experiences of corporate executives. With its lecture structure, the corporate Thought Leadership Series aims to provide a platform for the discussion of thought-provoking concepts between corporate executives and aspiring managers. During these sessions, industry veterans pick up new and innovative ideas while students receive a practical perspective on the theoretical principles they learned in class. In keeping with this custom, MDI hosted the most accomplished managers, leaders, and intellectuals on campus in the preceding academic year.

MDI GURGAON Placement Process
The MDI Placement Process seeks to align student goals with the demands of the corporate world, promoting the development of a synergistic relationship between the two. The following is a description of the many placement activities that MDI undertakes
Summer Internship Programmes
Students enrolled in PGP-HR and PGPM programs must do a 6-to 8-week summer internship with an organization as part of their coursework. After the first term for first-year students, the selection procedure for summer placements begins. A summer internship typically lasts from the first of April to the middle of June.
Final Placements
Although recruitment through pre-placement offers (PPO) and the lateral procedure for students with prior work experience can occur until at least a fortnight before the Final Placements, this process is typically carried out in February.
The next procedure is used for each of these processes:
Stage 1: Through Business Thought Leadership Sessions, Guest Lectures, Live Projects, and other Corporate Forums, corporate representatives engage with students on campus.
Stage 2: Companies are given access to student profiles and other pertinent information.
Stage 3: The organizations hold pre-placement talks to provide comprehensive details about them, such as the roles and profiles that are available.
Stage 4: Resumes of interested candidates are shared with the companies along with an invitation to apply.
Stage 5: Companies are selected and contacted on campus based on variables including profiles and places offered, as well as students’ impressions and areas of interest.
Step 6: Businesses carry out the selection process, which usually includes interviews, group discussions, and a shortlist based on resumes.
Stage 7: The companies declare the final results.
