B.Tech Admission

At the undergraduate level, MIT World Peace University offers a B.Tech (Full-Time) in 15 Specializations over a 4-year period. National and state-level engineering entrance exams such as JEE, MHT-CET, PERA, or NEET (Bioengineering) are used to determine admission to B.Tech programs at MIT WPU Pune. MIT Pune also provides lateral entry into the B.Tech program, which has the same specializations as the 4-Year Regular B.Tech program. The university admits students to all B.Tech specializations. Except for computer science and business systems, lateral entry is not permitted.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the minimum eligibility requirements for admission to B.Tech at MIT Pune:

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics, as well as one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology or Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
  • Those who have completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology in an appropriate branch from a UGC-approved university with an aggregate grade point average of 60%.
  • B.Tech Lateral Entry: Candidates must have a Diploma in an appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from a recognized institution with at least 60% (55% for Backward Class and PWD Category).

Selection Criteria

  • MHT-CET/ JEE Main/ PERA CET / NEET (Biotechnology) are the entrance exams for MIT Pune B.Tech.
  • Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements must also submit a Statement of Purpose (500 words).
  • The Entrance Exam Score and Statement of Purpose are used to make the final decision.
  • B.Tech. Lateral Entry Admission is based on Diploma Scores and a 500-word Statement of Purpose.

MBA & EMBA Admission

MIT Pune MBA is available in full-time mode for two years in a variety of specializations. MBA programs in Dual Specialization are also available at MIT Pune. In addition, the university offers an E-MBA program that lasts one year and three months. The annual MIT Pune MBA fees are INR 4,50,000 for all specializations and INR 6,00,000 for MBA Dual Specialization. Admission to the MBA program at MIT Pune is based on CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ MAH-CET/ MAT scores, which are then followed by a group discussion and a PI round.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBA: Candidates must have a minimum of 60% aggregate in their graduation (3/4 year full-time bachelor’s degree) from a UGC approved university or equivalent. 
  • EMBA: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and three years of industrial experience.

Selection Criteria

  • Admission to the MBA program at MIT Pune is determined by entrance exams such as the CAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ MAH-CET/ MAT.
  • Candidates with a valid score in any of the above exams are invited to the MIT-WPU GD and PI rounds.
  • Entrance Score, GD, PI, Statement of Purpose, Academic Record, and Work Experience are used to make the final decision.
  • Candidates for admission to the E-MBA program at MIT WPU will be chosen based on their profile, followed by a SOP and a personal interview.

M.Tech. Admission

At MIT World Peace University, the M.Tech program is available in 13 specializations, with major subjects such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering. Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 50% marks (SC/ST candidates are eligible to apply regardless of their marks/CPI).
  • Sponsored candidates must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in the relevant field in a registered firm/company/industry/educational and/or research institute/any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization.

Selection Criteria

  • GATE scores and work experience are used to evaluate candidates for admission.
  • If candidates do not have a valid GATE score and work experience, the university will conduct a written test and interview for any open seats following the admission process outlined above.

BBA & BBA (Hons.) Admission

MIT-WPU offers three- and four-year BBA and BBA (Hons.) with Research programs. Admission to both courses is based on an entrance exam, which is followed by a GD and PI round. BBA is available in eight specializations, which are as follows:

  • Candidates with a 2-year/ 3-year diploma from the Maharashtra Board of Technical Education or its equivalent MCVC.

Selection Criteria

  • MIT World Peace University selected students for the BBA program based on their performance in the university’s own entrance exam, known as the UGPET.
  • Those who pass the test must participate in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
  • The final selection is based on the results of the preceding rounds.

The MIT WPU Scholarship is awarded to qualified students on a first-come, first-served basis and is deducted from tuition.
