Mumbai University Admissions

Admissions to all affiliated colleges at Mumbai University are handled online. Admission to UG and PG programs at the University of Mumbai is based on merit or scores obtained in the entrance examination. PG Admission 2024

Full-time MA, M.Com, M.Ed, MMS, MPA, MBA, MFSM, MHRDM, and other postgraduate courses are available at Mumbai University. Law, business administration, library sciences, social work, science and technology, commerce, and other subjects are among the postgraduate specializations available.

Mumbai University primarily admits students based on merit. It does, however, hold university entrance exams for MSc and MA programs. GATE scores are also considered for admission to the MFSM and M.Tech programs. Mumbai University, on the other hand, accepts MUCMET scores for the BMS-MBA program. PhD Admission

For PhD registrations and applications, Mumbai University has a separate portal. Distance education

University of Mumbai IDOL (Mumbai University, Institute of Distance and Open Learning) is a distance education department within Mumbai University. It is the country’s seventh university to launch a traditional Distance Education Program. IDOL Mumbai University offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Humanities, Science and Technology, Commerce and Management, Inter-disciplinary, and other fields.

Admission to all UG and PG courses (except MMS and MCA) is based on the final qualifying examination marks (Merit-based). Candidates for MMS and MCA admission must take the entrance exam administered by the respective department.
