About Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT)

A member of the Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) Group of Institutions, the Greater Noida Institute of Technology was founded by the Shri Ram Educational Trust in 2001. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.

The Greater Noida Institute of Technology Admission Process

Step 1: For Candidates Reporting through UPSEE Counselling

After producing the original UPSEE Seat Allotment Letter, all students with seats assigned by UPSEE Counseling are advised to collect the following from the Admission Coordinator:

  • Fee Structure (Form No. 1) and the Prospectus
  • List of Documents Needed (Form No. 2)
  • Request Letter for Issue of Admission Form (Form No. 3)
  • Student’s Anti-Ragging Affidavit (Form No. 5)
  • Parents’ Anti-Ragging Affidavit (Form No. 6)
  • Temporary Identification Card (Form No. 7)
  • Gap Year Affidavit, if applicable (Form No. 8)
  • Request Letter for Scholarship Availment (Form No. 9)
  • Grant Application (Form No. 10)
  • Student Scholarship Affidavit (Form No. 11)
  • Scholarship Parent Affidavit Form

Step 2: Scholarship Verification (Samaj Kalyan Office)

If eligible for a scholarship under Samaj Kalyan Office rules, students must contact the institute’s Scholarship Coordinator and submit Form No. 09 with required documents. The coordinator will verify and apply tuition fee/scholarship relaxation as per Samaj Kalyan Office norms.

Step 3: Submission of Admission Form

Students must contact the Admission Coordinator with a Request Letter (Form No. 3) and attach photocopies of documents listed on the reverse of the form.

Step 4: Admission File Completion

After receiving the Admission File, candidates must complete the Admission Form (Form No. 4), I.D. Generation Form (Form No. 16), and attach self-attested copies of documents listed in Form No. 2.

Step 5: Fee Slip and I.D. Generation

Students must contact the respective file coordinators for I.D. generation and to collect fee deposit slips (branch-wise counter list available in front of the room).

Step 6: Fee Payment

Collect the fee deposit slip and pay the academic and/or hostel fees at the Accounts Section.

Step 7: Hostel Accommodation

Students opting for hostel accommodation should contact the Hostel Warden at the respective hostel reception (Girls Hostel or New Boys Hostel) to reserve a room.

Step 8: Transportation Facility

Students who wish to use institute transportation should contact the Transport Coordinator with Form No. 13 to obtain a bus pass after paying the required fees.

Step 9: Final Reporting

After completing all formalities, students must report to the institute as per the schedule published on the official website: www.gniotgroup.edu.in.
