Most of the Mysore University courses are entrance-based. The admissions are purely based on the entrance exam scores and academic records of the candidates. Here are the steps of the admission process:
STEP 1: How to Apply through the University of Mysore Application Process 2024
All the UG or PG courses in UOM can be applied through its official website. The application fee, to be paid by the aspirants, is also different and amounts to INR 300 for UG courses and INR 400 for PG programs. Furthermore, the entrance exam form also needs to be submitted for the PG courses. For all categories of candidates, the entrance exam has to be separately paid at INR 1,000 and for group subjects at INR 2,000.
STEP 2: Choice
The University of Mysore conducts Postgraduate Entrance Exam, also known as PGEE, for all PG courses that the university offers. The university, at times, accepts national or state-level entrance exams also for getting admitted to certain courses.
