UPESMET Exam 2025: Key Details for MBA and Other Courses
For admission to MBA programs, UPESMET General Entrance Examination is conducted by UPES, Dehradun. UPESMET offers outstanding undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs with a corporate focus in critical fields like energy, infrastructure, transport, IT, design, planning & architecture, public policy, and law studies to hold UPESMET several times a year. The exam is given in a supervised online format.
In the first week of November 2024, the UPES 2025 application form will be released for UG and PG courses. Candidates can choose to fill out the application form online. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established by the Uttarakhand State Legislative Assembly in 2003. The university has received approval from UGC, the Bar of India, Pharmacy Council of India, and is accredited by IACBE, NBA, and NAAC at an A grade.
Candidates can choose from a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate courses. Admission to UPES University will be granted based on several university entrance tests, including UPSEAT, UPESPATT, UPESDAT, and UPESMAT in addition to academic achievement and marks obtained for national levels. Those who pass the entrance test will get admission in various courses offered like Management, Engineering, Design, and Law.

UPESMET Exam 2025 Application Form
The UPESMET exam 2025 application form can be filled out online easily. All interested candidates can fill out the application form for the online entrance exam within the given period.
UPESMET Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be graduates of a recognized university in any field with at least 50% marks.
- Candidates must score at least 50% in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
- Candidates in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible, provided they produce their pass certificate at the time of admission.
- Applicants are not required to take the UPESMET if they have passed MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT, or GMAT this year or last.
Non-Examination Pathway for PG Admission
Admission is determined by the results of National Management Entrance Examinations (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT), followed by individual interviews and group discussions. About 50% of the seats are reserved for this route. Below is the minimum score required:
