UPESMET Exam 2025
For admission to MBA programs, UPESMET General Entrance Examination is conducted by UPES, Dehradun. UPESMET offers outstanding undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs with corporate focus in critical fields like energy, infrastructure, transport, IT, design, planning & architecture, public policy and law studies to hold UPESMET several times a year. The exam is given in a supervised online format.
In the first week of November 2024, the UPES 2025 application form will be released for UG and PG courses. Candidates can choose to fill the application form online. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established by the Uttarakhand State Legislative Assembly in 2003. The university has received approval from UGC, Bar of India, Pharmacy Council of India, and is accredited by IACBE, NBA, NAAC at A grade.
Candidates can choose from a variety of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses. Admission to UPES University will be granted on the basis of a number of university entrance tests, including UPSEAT, UPESPATT, UPESDAT and UPESMAT in addition to academic achievement and marks obtained for national levels. Those who pass the entrance test will get admission in various courses offered like Management, Engineering, Design and Law.

UPESMET 2025 Application form
UPESMET exam 2025 application form can be filled online easily. All the Interested candidates can fill the application form for the online entrance exam within the given time period.
UPESMET Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be graduates of a recognized university in any field with at least 50% of the possible marks.
- Candidates must score at least 50% in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations.
- Candidates in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible for UPSMET as long as they can produce their pass certificate at the time of admission.
- Applicants are not required to take the UPESMET if they have passed the MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT, or GMAT this year or last.
Non-Examination Pathway for PG admission
Admission is determined by the results of National Management Entrance Examinations (CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT, and GMAT), followed by individual interview and group discussion Students in the non-exam route hold about 50% of the seats. Below is the minimum percentage required to move to the non-examination stage:
- MAT score of minimum 80 percentile
- CMAT 2024 score of minimum 80 percentile
- XAT 2024/CAT 2022 score of minimum 75 percentile
- NMAT 2024 score of minimum 140

UPESMET 2025 Preparation Tips
The UPESMET exam is given several times a year. Those who want to join UPES Business School and qualify for UPSMET must do a successful study plan. To learn how to prepare for the exam, see the tips below:

UPESMET 2025 Admit Card
One of the most important documents to bring on the day of the exam is the admission card. Since the exam will be conducted online under supervision, UPESMET 2025 admit card will not be available. The confirmation email will be sent to the email address or mobile number registered in UPSMET examination. Candidates will be required to appear for the examination at the time of selection.
UPESMET 2025 Results
Results of all UG and PG programs in UPESMET are published online. Using their admission credentials, candidates can access their results on the official UPES website. The names of the selected candidates for GD/PI round are listed in the merit list, which is made public. The overall performance of the candidates during the selection process determines the final acceptance.
