XAT 2027 is scheduled to be held on January 3, 2027 (Sunday), in computer-based mode from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in more than 110 test cities across 26 states and union territories. Tabulated below is the official schedule of XAT Exam 2027 .

XAT Registration 2027: Step-Wise Process

XAT Application Process 2027 includes 8 steps. Following is the complete procedure to complete the XAT 2027 login and apply successfully:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Visit xatonline.in – The only official platform for XAT registration. Do not use any third-party link.

Step 2: Register your XAT Account

To register for the XAT exam online, you need to register yourself on the official website (xatonline.in) and validate your Email ID. You will get a verification link in your registered email. These login ID and password will be used by you as XAT login credentials throughout the process.

Step 3: Fill out Application Form

Candidates are advised to double check their academic and personal facts while submitting the XAT exam form as any wrong information may lead to disqualification.

Complete the following:

  • Personal data (name, date of birth, sex, nationality)
  • Work and educational background
  • Contact Info

Step 4: Submit the Required Documents

Upload scanned photos & signature as per above guidelines. Make sure that file sizes do not exceed the prescribed limits.

Step 5: XLRI Programmes (If Applicable)

In this phase, select the MBA or PGDM programs at XLRI Jamshedpur if you want to apply and pay the additional INR 200 per program.

Step 6: Select Test Cities

In the XAT application form 2027, candidates can choose up to six cities. The candidate will be given the XAT centre in the city indicated as first preference. In case, a seat is not available at the test centre in the first city of choice, then a centre will be given in the next city chosen.

Step 7: XAT Registration Fee Pay

Pay the XAT registration fee of INR 2,300 online using your selected payment option. This concludes the submission process.

Step 8: Save Your Confirmation Letter

Download and save the confirmation of registration. Later, you will be able to download the admit card using your XAT login details.

Eligibility Criteria for XAT 2027

Candidates may download the XAT 2027 Admit Card from xatonline.in commencing on 20 December 2026. Follow the steps mentioned below to download the XAT admit card:
