ASM IBMR Admissions
PGDM & MBA Admission
In collaboration with reputable companies, ASM’s Institute of Business Management and Research offers PGDM courses in three specializations. The intake capacity for the PGDM Dual Specialization is 120, while the intake capacity for the PGDM Emerging Technologies and PGDM Agribusiness is 60 each. Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and a valid CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/CMAT/ATMA score of at least 50% (45% for SC/ST category) from a recognized university are eligible for admission to the PGDM course.
Furthermore, the institute offers an MBA dual specialisations course with a total intake of 360 seats. Candidates for the MBA program must have a Graduation Degree course with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the reserved category) in any discipline and a valid CAT/CMAT/MHMBACET score.
After being selected, the candidate may take admission within the specified time frame by paying the tuition fees and submitting all required documents in original. Candidates must submit the application form, which is available at the institute or by post, along with their 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets, entrance exam score card, and photo id proof.

Admission to MBA programs is granted through a centralized admission process administered by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, or candidates may apply for admission at the institute level.
The following factors will be used to select candidates for the PGDM program:
- Score in any of the six All India tests (CAT/CMAT/MHMBACET) or the common entrance examinations (if any) administered by the respective state governments. – 35 to 60%.
- Academic performance in Xth, XIIth, Undergraduate Degree/Postgraduate Degree – 5 to 25%.
- 20 to 45% for group discussion/interview.
- Participation in sports, extracurricular activities, academic diversity, and gender diversity are all weighted at 5 to 20%.
