The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is an entrance exam for management at the national level that is administered by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). The test is intended to test the ability of candidates to pursue higher education in management by testing the ability to analyze, verbal reasoning and quantitative abilities.

ATMA is recognized by than 750 MBA/PGDM schools across India which makes it one of the most widely-respected exams for admission to management.

ATMA Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for ATMA:

  • Bachelor's degree earned from a recognized university
  • Minimum 50 marks at graduation (varies by the institution)
  • Students in their final year can be entitled to apply
  • There is no age limit to take part in the test
  • Candidates with any background with an educational degree are eligible to apply.

ATMA Exam Registration Process

To be eligible for ATMA applicants should follow the steps below:

  • Go to the official ATMA AIMS website
  • Pay the fee for registration online to get an individual PID (Personal Identification Number)
  • Complete the online application form using the PID
  • Input your personal or academic information, as well as contact information.
  • Upload a passport-sized image in accordance with the requirements
  • Select the test date you prefer and the city
  • Verify all information and complete the form.
  • Download the ATMA Admit Card prior to the test.

ATMA Admission Process

ATMA scores are recognized by many management institutes. After the test:

  • Candidates must apply separately to schools that accept ATMA scores

  • Additional selection rounds may include:
    1. Group Discussion (GD)
    2. Personal Interview (PI)
    3. Written Ability Test (WAT)
