The deadline to apply for admission to top MBA colleges in 2024 is approaching fast, with many closing before the CAT 2023 exam date. While applications for IIMs closed on September 21, there’s still time to apply to other prestigious institutions like XLRI Jamshedpur, SPJIMR Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, NMIMS Mumbai, MICA Ahmedabad, SIBM Pune, IMI New Delhi, IMT Ghaziabad, and Great Lakes. IIFT has extended its deadline until Nov 24, 2023, giving one last chance to apply for admission. FMS and TISS are expected to open their applications soon.
Once the CAT 2023 registration and IIMs application process is over, the deadlines for many other top MBA colleges will follow suit. IIM Admission Process 2023
You can apply to all 20 IIMs, such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Lucknow, by just taking the CAT 2022 exam. You only need to register once for CAT, pay ₹2300, and submit your application. There are no additional fees required to apply to each IIM separately.
IIM Admission Details: IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, and IIM Kozhikode are highly ranked among B-schools. IIM Calcutta and IIT Delhi are also top-ranked. All 20 IIMs, including newer ones, are ranked among the top 125 B-schools.
Fee: ₹14–25 lakhs for the entire course.
Placement: Average salaries range from ₹25–35 LPA for top IIMs and ₹12–20 LPA for newer ones. Admission for the 2024 batch closed on September 21, 2024.

2. XLRI Jamshedpur Admission 2024: Apply through XAT 2023 - Last Date: Nov 30
XLRI, founded in 1949 in Jamshedpur, is a leading management institute in India. It offers PGDM and PGDM (HRM) programs, contributing to the growth of various sectors over the decades. XLRI accepts only XAT scores for admission in 2024, with an additional Rs.200 fee on top of the XAT application fee of Rs.2000.
