Subsequently, in 2008, the institution received the designation of being recognized as a university by UGC, which is validated by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Graphic Era Deemed to be University that has been accredited A+ by NAAC and ranks 55th among the top 100 universities in the country. Built on a 40-acre campus, the university boasts a beautiful and tranquil view. The campus is surrounded by the foothills of the Himalayas in Doon Valley, near Rajaji National Park on one side.
