CMAT 2026 Exam – Date, Pattern, Eligibility & Complete Details
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The CMAT 2026 exam date is expected to be announced for 25 January 2026 and will be held in online CBT mode across India. Every year, 75,000+ students appear for CMAT for admission into 1000+ AICTE-approved MBA/PGDM colleges.
The CMAT 2026 exam pattern will include 100 questions for 400 marks with a duration of 180 minutes. For each correct answer +4 marks are awarded and -1 mark is deducted for every incorrect response.

CMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To appear for CMAT 2026, candidates must:
- Hold a graduation degree (any stream) from a recognized university
- Final year students can also apply (subject to document submission)
- No minimum percentage required for CMAT registration
- However, many colleges require 50% for General & 45% for Reserved category
- No age limit to appear for CMAT

Candidates may select up to 4 cities for the exam. NTA allocates test centres based on first-preference & first-come-first-served basis. Early registration increases chances of getting the preferred location.
