Scholarships
UG Courses
Students in UG studies (excluding Medical, Dental, and Ayurveda) will be eligible for the scholarship based on their grades:
(a) PCB/M/CS with one of the subjects being English OR
(a) Best of four topics, one of which being English.
Subsidiary disciplines such as drawing, music, physical education, and so on will not be considered for calculating scholarship percentages:

- The lateral entry scholarship will also be available if the preceding criteria are met. The aggregate marks will be used to determine their eligibility.

- Over and above the % mentioned above, 5% extra scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee Concession will be provided to students who have completed their qualifying exams from SGT University necessary for admission to Postgraduate programs (including Post Basic Nursing and B. Pharm.).
- Furthermore, to encourage SGT University graduates who are graduating to be admitted to Postgraduate programs and do not meet the criteria for scholarship as stated above and have obtained marks of 50% or higher but less than 60%, a 20% scholarship in the form of Tuition Fee concession will be granted.
The grant will not be available to Ph.D. students. However, if the Ph. D. scholars join the University as regular scholars (one in each department) and assist the teaching staff with their academic and laboratory work, they would be paid a stipend of Rs. 10000/- a month.
