SMAT Exam 2025
For those who wish to enroll on or before the deadline, Shivnadar University will conduct the Shivnadar University Management Entrance Test, or SMAT 2025, for those seeking entry into its MBA programs. There will be a ninety-minute pen-and-paper test that includes quantitative skills, data interpretation, logical reasoning, and oral reading comprehension. There will be 20 questions in each section.
Shivnadar University offers SMAT entrance test for its I-Global MBA programme. It helps in selection of MBA candidates. If you passed the GMAT or NMAT, you may also be admitted based on those results; Therefore, SMAT is not required. Apply online for MBA program.

It should be noted that candidates should not appear for SMAT if they score more than 65 percentile in CAT, NMAT, XAT, GMAT, or more than 80 percent in CMAT. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by the University of the dates for the comprehensive individual assessment programme. The short selection process is based on SMAT 2024 scores OR qualifying scores in CAT, NMAT, XAT, CMAT, or GMAT. The results of the entrance test and the performance in the individual assessment will determine the final selection.

Exam Application Process
- Visit to the official website and Click on ‘Apply Now’ on the website and sign up yourself.
- After signing up Login with your user ID and unique password.
- Complete the registration form with accurate information like personal details, qualifications, etc.
- Upload all the mandatory documents in the specified format.
- Pay for the application fee which can be paid online or offline both.
- Review all your details carefully and submit your application form.
- Remember to save a printed copy of the application for future reference.
SMAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should review the SMAT 2024 eligibility requirements prior to completing the SMAT application to prevent any cancellations or problems during the admission process. Candidates must fulfill the below requirements to qualify for SMAT 2024, as per Shivnadar University:
- Candidates need any recognized Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University, University Mathematics, Institute of National Importance, or Professional Body like ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI, etc., or its equivalent . . . . They must also complete with at least 50% possible marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Applicants may ask the program whether they are taking final year exams for a bachelor’s or master’s degree. By November 30, 2024, they must submit a certificate from the dean or registrar of their college or institution as proof that they have completed all requirements needed to earn a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. An examination score sheet or final exam score sheet must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by October 31, 2024.
In addition to their academic credentials, candidates must pass each of the following examinations with a score above 65 percent-
(i) CAT 2022/ 2023
(ii) GMAT (2020 onwards)
(iii) NMAT 2022/ 2023
(iv) XAT 2023/ 2024
(v) CMAT 2023/ 2024 (80 percentile or above)
OR
(vi) valid scores in SMAT (Shiv Nadar University Management Aptitude Test)*
*Candidates who have a valid score in XAT/NMAT/ CAT/GMAT/CMAT as mentioned above are exempt from appearing for SMAT 2024.
