Q1. What is the weighting for each section of the XAT?

Ans : The XAT 2025 exam Pattern is mostly focused on verbal, logical, and quantitative abilities. For this reason, the weight of these two pieces is greater than that of the entire segment. Furthermore, Quantitative Ability is given more weight than the other one. In terms of grades, the highest weight goes to the quantitative ability, which receives 28 points. Verbal and logical ability comes in second with 26 marks, general knowledge has 25 marks, and decision-making has 22 marks.

Q2. Which Section of the exam paper for the XAT 2025 will include the most number of questions?

Ans: The greatest number of questions on the Xavier Aptitude Test 2025 will be in the Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation part (28), followed by Verbal and Logical Ability (26). The Xavier Aptitude Test will consist of 25 questions on General Knowledge and 22 questions on Decision Making. XAT 2025 exam Pattern: Making Choices There are 22 questions. 22 total points Ability to Communicate and Think Logically There are 26 questions. 26 total points Ability to Quantify and Interpret Data There are 28 questions. 28 total points Broad Awareness There are 25 questions. 25 total points for the essay (250 words) There is only one question (students can select one topic from three possibilities).

Q3.What kind of sections in the XAT need reading comprehension?

Ans: Reading comprehension passages for the XAT are typically drawn from research articles, history, psychology, philosophy, and art. There are poetry in the XAT RC section occasionally. These topics are selected to assess the candidates’ adaptability to new circumstances and capacity to step outside of their comfort zone—the majority of whom are graduates of science, commerce, and engineering programs. Approximately 14–16 of the 26 questions are based on excerpts from RC or a poetry. In order to score highly, candidates should aim to accurately answer roughly ten questions. Because the XAT uses negative marking, if you are not quite confident about an option, don’t mark it as your answers.
