PGCET 2024

The Karnataka Post Graduate General Entrance Test (PGCET) is a national level examination administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission to postgraduate programs The Karnataka PGCET is conducted once a year, usually in July or August. Candidates for Karnataka PGCET 2024 are required to have qualifications in Technology, Engineering, Architecture, MBA, MCA, M. Tech, M. Arch, M.E.

PGCET 2024 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for Karnataka PGCET 2024 MBA programs are as follows:

MBA Full-time Course

To seek admission to a full-time MBA program through Karnataka PGCET, all the candidates must meet the some basic criteria of eligibility:

• Three-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent educational credentials from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 50% in the graduation examination is required in the non-reserved section, while a combined 45% may be required for SC, ST and Karnataka candidates.

Part-Time MBA

Candidates applying for the part-time MBA program must meet the some basic criteria of eligibility:

• Candidates must have a wok experience of minimum of three years before starting their Karnataka PGCET registration process.
• Candidates have to travel within 40 km of their preferred institution to reach the office or office.

MBA Seats in Government College

For candidates who are preparing for government seats in MBA, they must clear some of the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• Candidates must pass the qualifying test in Karnataka. Both their parents had to study in Karnataka for at least seven years.
• Candidates must have completed at least seven years of education from a recognized institution of the Government of Karnataka starting from Class I.
• Must have completed Class X or XII from a Government recognized institution of Karnataka.
• Children of ex-servicemen residing in Karnataka after joining the Defense Service are eligible.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Exam Pattern

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam pattern consists of 100 questions and 100 marks. The exam takes 120 minutes and the candidates have to answer all the questions in that time.

Karnataka PGCET carries +1 mark for each correct answer, with no negative marks for wrong answers. Additionally, the exam is conducted online, and the questions are mainly in the form of multiple choice questions (MCQs):
